Auction prizes include a days coaching with Des Shipp (England Match Angler), corporate match day at Aston Villa, 2 Cheltenham Racing tickets, with many prizes from leading fishing tackle manufacturers like Frenzee and Drennan.

There is a live band later and fully licensed bar open all day with hot food available. Camping from £5 is available overnight if you wish to stay.

Hillview lakes is not just a fishing holiday but offers so much more…….ideal for a family break you have the Hilton Puckrup Hall Hotel 100 metres away with its 18 hole championship golf course, easy access to the motorway network less than a mile away to local beautiful scenery such as the Malverns and the Cotswolds. The historic town of Tewkesbury lies only 4 miles away and with a village shop and 3 pubs within walking distance, as well as Hillview Lakes own licensed bar there is plenty to offer in the evening.

Welcome to Hillview Lakes ……

Developed on the site of fields previously used to grow cauliflowers, Hillview Lakes offers a total of five acres of water on an eight acre site. Owner, Keith Hill, dug the first lakes, Moorhen and Heron, in 1990 and started work on Canals One and Two eight years later to cater for the increasing demand in match angling. He then dug Canals Three and Four in 2000.

However, the work hasn’t stopped there; Hillview Lakes now has nine well-equipped and spacious Scandanavian-style Log Cabins making it an appealing retreat for all who are looking to get away for a weekend, midweek break or holiday with their friends or family with the added bonus of fishing for the keen angler.

2016 has also seen the introduction of an onsite angling shop selling a wide range of items from terminal tackle to rods and poles from leading fishing manufacturers. The shop also sells a good variety of baits including maggots and casters.

International ace angler Des Shipp offers great tips from Hillview Lakes in Tewkesbury. Des regularly fishes the lakes so this is a great insight on how to target and fish the F1’s on the waters using Maggots and Pellets.
Des covers bait, swim choice and terminal tackle, all of which will help put more fish in your net.

Latest News………..

The lakes have recently (Feb 2017) been stocked with barbel, chub and F1’s….in fact 2 1/2 tonne in total. Please see the videos below.
